The national President of the Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria, MOUN, Alhaji Olusola Rasak Sotayo, has directed all its members to join the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC on a nationwide strike which begins, June 3, 2024.

In a statement signed by is National Secretary, Comrade Ade Ikuesan, the Union affirmed that federal government’s lip service to the wages of workers remains unacceptable.

The Union noted that in view of government’s failure to enhance workers’ wages, its members should join the strike.

“In total compliance with this directive of NLC, Further more order all the State Chairmen across the 36 State of federation including FCT to mobilize our members to

join the strike.

Direct all the state and branch leadership to work with the NLC state chairmen at their various States,” he  instructed the MOUN General Secretary, Comrade Ade Ikuesan to directs all its members to join the nationwide strike until further directive.
