The Director-General of the Niger State Bureau for Religious Affairs, Imam Dr. Umar Farooq Abdullahi, MPI, has officially announced the remarkable achievement of Hafiz Abdullah Salisu Abba, who emerged as the 2nd place winner in the recently concluded International Qur'anic Musabaqqa held in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
Imam Dr. Umar Farooq celebrated this achievement as a moment of pride for the entire Niger State, highlighting the potential for even greater successes in the future. He encouraged the Muslim community and the people of Niger State to continue their prayers and support, fostering an environment of hope and optimism for more victories ahead.
The Director-General also extended his gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago, for his steadfast support in facilitating the successful participation and outcome of the event. He further praised the efforts of HRH Alh. Yahaya Abubakar (Etsu Nupe) and the entire members of the Traditional Council, the Chairman, the Coordinator, and members of the Qur'anic Committee, as well as all those involved in this significant accomplishment.
The announcement was made in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including the Governor of Makkah, senior Haram Imams, and Nigeria’s ambassadors to Saudi Arabia.
