Niger State Acting Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, has condemned the recent attack by bandits on Anguwan Mai-Giro community, located within the Rafi and Shiroro local government areas. The attack resulted in the loss of several lives.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Acting Governor described the attack as "satanic, insensible, atrocious, and callous." He expressed profound dismay at the barbaric and vicious nature of the violence inflicted on innocent civilians.
The Acting Governor extended his condolences to the affected families, community members, and the people of Shiroro local government area. He prayed for the repose of the departed souls, comfort for their loved ones, and swift recovery for those injured.
He reaffirmed the Bago-led administration's strong commitment to combating insecurity in the state and encouraged security agencies not to be discouraged by the recent attacks. He assured them of the government's full support in their efforts to overcome these challenges.
