Following a successful tour of 14 Local Government Areas, the Ministry of Nomadic Affairs in Niger State has advanced to the next phase of the Nomadic Baseline Data Capturing Exercise. Supervisors gathered at the ICT Center in Minna for a training session on using the specialized software for the project.
The Honorable Commissioner, Hon. Umar Ahmed Sanda Rebe, addressed the supervisors, emphasizing the importance of the exercise in supporting pastoralist communities. He urged them to build trust and approach their duties with commitment.
The Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Salihu Muhammad Alfa, also spoke, encouraging supervisors to be respectful and approachable to ensure community cooperation.
With training complete, the supervisors will soon train enumerators to begin the data capturing process in the field.
