The Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has extended his heartfelt condolences to his Niger State counterpart, Governor Umar Bago, and the people of the state following the tragic tanker explosion at Diko Junction.
In a condolence message signed by Ahmed Idris, Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi State Governor, Governor Idris described the incident, which claimed numerous lives, as both heartbreaking and unfortunate.
He urged the families of the victims to accept the will of Almighty God in good faith while praying for the quick recovery of those injured in the explosion.
“May Almighty Allah put an end to the recurrence of such tragic incidents,” Governor Idris stated, emphasizing the need for heightened caution, especially during fuel tanker accidents, to prevent similar disasters.
The governor also reassured the affected families and the people of Niger State of his thoughts and prayers during this challenging time.
It may be recalled that the fuel tanker explosion occurred on Saturday, resulting in significant loss of life and injuries to several others.
