Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN has sought for synergy and full inclusion of its members into Hisbah activities for harmonious working relationship.

Pastor Nuhu Sani, Secretary CAN Sabon gari local government area raised the observation at a one-day workshop organised by Hisbah board at the council Secretariat.

Pastor Sani said since Hisbah board is a religious body with the responsibility of flushing evil and wrong doings in the society, the need for synergy with Christian association became highly imperative.

The Secretary observed that both Muslims and Christians reside in the same area hence the need to harmonize Hisbah activities with their christians counterpart for more fruitful result.

"Both of us reside in Sabon gari local government hence the need to include Christian brothers in the Hisbah so that the act of sanitizing the society of evil deeds and social vices could be well achieved.

"This is necessary in view of the fact that it's not only people of one religion that commit crimes or vices, therefore the inclusion of non Muslim, would strengthen the activities and foster more fruitful result." He said.

He applauded the commitment of the local council for consenting to a law passed by the legislators that gave Hisbah board the legal it's so requires to operate.

In their separate remarks, security agents SP Auwal Usman who represented the police, RCN Musa Sunusi from Federal Road Safety Corp and ACM Aminu Amadu of the Federal Fire Service pledges readiness to render their assistance for the overall success of Hisbah activities.
