The member representing Darazo-Ganjuwa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mansur Manu Soro, has distributed 48 newly constructed lock-up shops across four major towns—Sade, Soro, Darazo, and Zara—in Bauchi State.

During the distribution of allocation letters to beneficiaries on Monday, Alhaji Najeeb Darazo, a member of the Darazo-Ganjuwa Legacy Project Management Committee, stated that the initiative is part of Hon. Soro’s ongoing efforts to empower local entrepreneurs and stimulate economic growth through small-scale trade.

Najeeb urged recipients to make effective and responsible use of the shops to improve their livelihoods and contribute to the development of their communities.

According to Aleeyu Darazo, media aide to Hon. Soro, construction of the shops began about two months ago as part of the lawmaker’s broader constituency development strategy.

“This intervention is aimed at empowering our people economically by supporting grassroots commerce. It’s not just about buildings—it’s about building opportunities,” Aleeyu said.

Several beneficiaries expressed appreciation, describing the gesture as both timely and impactful.
