President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is hosting a meeting with governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House in Abuja.
The high-level meeting comes ahead of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting slated for Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 2pm at the Banquet Hall of the State House, Abuja.
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo state and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) is expected to lead the 23 APC governors at the meeting.
The APC, Wednesday, announced that the meeting of its NEC would be held on Thursday.
This was contained in a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of APC Mr Felix Morka in Abuja.
“The change of venue from the party’s national secretariat – 40 Blantyre street, Wuse II, Abuja to the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja is due to logistical reasons,” the statement said.
