Bauchi Water Supply and Sewerage Corporation has been working tirelessly to meet the global benchmark of water supply. Under the amiable leadership of Hajiya Uwani Garba Dagauda, the system is improving and making sure total productivity and development initiatives in the whole sector.
A good example was the historical significance of repairing and upgrading water-borne pipe facilities at Unguwar Sarakuna, Bauchi. It’s on this note I want to keep more emphasis that this great woman, the Managing Director of the Water Board, Bauchi State, Hajiya Uwani Garba Dagauda, upon assumption into office, she quickly swung into action and ensured total rehabilitation, upgrading, and maintenance of all leaked, broken, and damaged water pipes across the entire Bauchi State. Besides that, she ensures overall reticulation of water supply hygiene, standards, and procedures has effectively been followed and fully implemented in accordance with the best practices of international standards.
She has been up and doing in ensuring things have come to stay diligently and appropriately.
I strongly believe that with the support of Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration, the sky is her limit. This is a kind of woman Nigeria needs in the space of public service. She’s a good symbol of professionalism, productivity, honesty, and integrity by all standards as well as humility.
Once you talk of justice, she is a reservoir of justice, peace, and discipline. She is a good example of divine grace.
She is able and capable of shaking the table in terms of bringing sanity and productivity into water sectors in Bauchi State.
My humble opinion is that let all stakeholders in Bauchi State rally around this great and workaholic woman of substance in bringing best practices, standards, and guidelines in improving Bauchi greater water supply projects which have been the cardinal principles, policies, and guidelines in Governor Bala Mohammed’s PDP-led government in Bauchi State.
Hajiya Uwani Garba Dagauda has recently received an award of excellence and recognition from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, for her determination and professionalism in improving good water hygiene practices across water management and services sectors in the state.
During the award presentation and ceremony conducted by the Geology Department of the university, the award plaque reads that this award is presented to you for your outstanding performance, integrity, and adding value to professional practices in water supply management across the Bauchi State Water Supply and Sewerage Corporation.
She has been in good cordial relationship with her staff across the board and a good example of the sanctity of truth, integrity, due process, and open-door policies in line with administrative standards and rudimentary guidelines of civil service rules.
