An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Hon. Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya, has commended the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for what he described as notable achievements in inclusive governance, social service delivery and grassroots development over the past three years in Kano State.

Gaya said Governor Yusuf's "Kano First" agenda was aimed at restoring public confidence in government, accelerating development and prioritising the welfare of citizens across the state.

According to him, the policy reflects the administration's commitment to ensuring that development reaches every community while promoting inclusive and people-oriented governance.

Speaking on the government's achievements, Gaya noted that significant progress had been recorded in key sectors, including education, healthcare, infrastructure and social welfare.

He said the education sector, in particular, had witnessed major improvements through the rehabilitation of schools, the award of scholarships and the upgrading of learning facilities across the state.

In a statement issued in Kano, Gaya described the administration's emphasis on public engagement and social sector development as a defining feature of its governance approach.

He urged political leaders, stakeholders and residents to support efforts aimed at consolidating ongoing projects, strengthening public institutions and sustaining policies that improve the living standards of the people.

As Kano approaches another political cycle, Gaya stressed the importance of maintaining development-focused initiatives and ensuring continuity in programmes that directly benefit citizens.

He also prayed for wisdom, good health and continued success for Governor Yusuf in his efforts to serve the people of Kano State.
