In a public notice issued on Tuesday, the Corporation said the disruption became necessary to enable assessments of the damage and the commencement of restoration work.
"The Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) wishes to inform the general public that there was a fire incident at the Corporation's premises earlier today," the statement read.
According to the Corporation, radio and television transmissions will remain off air until the necessary technical assessments and repairs have been completed.
KSMC urged its audience and stakeholders to continue accessing its official social media platforms for updates and other important information during the outage.
The Corporation expressed appreciation for the public's understanding, patience and continued support while efforts are being made to restore normal broadcasting services.
The statement was signed by the Head of Public Relations and Corporate Communications, Nusaibah Gumbi.
The Corporation did not disclose the cause of the fire or whether any casualties or property losses were recorded.
