Blueprint Broadcast Limited, owners of Blueprint Radio and a sister organisation of Blueprint Newspaper, has appointed two media and communication professionals, Nuhu Bashir Masa and Muhammad Aliyu Mustapha, as line editors.
The appointments bring together professionals with extensive experience in journalism, broadcasting, information management and media production.
Nuhu Bashir Masa
Masa is a communication and information management specialist with more than 10 years of experience in multimedia journalism.
He holds a Postgraduate Diploma and a Master’s degree in Information Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also obtained a Diploma, National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication from Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria.
Masa has expertise in mass communication, public relations, strategic messaging and information systems management. He is also experienced in developing communication strategies and managing information for diverse audiences and stakeholders.
Between 2014 and 2025, he worked with KSMC Queen FM Radio, Zaria, as a newscaster, reporter, editor and social media producer. He also served as an editor at News Harvest Nigeria.
Masa was the pioneer chairman of the Kaduna Young Journalists Association and the convener of the KAYOJA Annual Media Conference.
He also previously served as a Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen.
Born and raised in Zaria City, Kaduna State, Masa has combined his experience in journalism, communication and public service throughout his professional career.
Muhammad Aliyu Mustapha
Mustapha, who was born and raised in Kano, is a broadcast journalist with 23 years of professional experience.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mass Communication from Bayero University, Kano.
Throughout his career, Mustapha has focused on delivering impactful journalism, with particular emphasis on human-interest stories and reporting that highlights issues affecting individuals and communities.
His stated career goal is to make a positive impact on audiences through compelling human-interest stories and responsible reportage.
The appointments are expected to draw on the experience of both professionals in strengthening the editorial and broadcasting operations of Blueprint Broadcast Limited.
