The outgoing speaker for the 9th House of Assembly and a member representing Ningi Central constituency of Bauchi State, Hon. Abubakar Suleiman, has emerged as the Speaker of the 10th House of Assembly today, Tuesday in Bauchi 

Hon. Abubakar had emerged unopposed during the election conducted by members of the 10th House of Assembly.

This medium can authoritatively report that Abubakar Y. Suleiman was the speaker of the 9th House of Assembly of Bauchi state, who was elected on the platform of APC and later decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party along with other stakeholders in the state.

It would be recalled that Hon. Abubakar during his campaign promised to ensure the independence of the parliament as well as reforms when elected.

Hon Abubakar was declared Speaker of the 10th House of Assembly and thereafter administered oaths of office alongside some members-elect of the House of Assembly.
