The organizers, Muhammed Zubairu Sambo (Sambokhan) and Zaraphtat Haruna are the ones who led the event at the main conference hall of Giwa Local Government of Kaduna State.

While delivering her speech, she explained that one of CODE's targets is to enlighten the people on the funds disbursed by the Federal government to their representatives for project purposes.

The CODE event was organized with the support of the MacArthur Foundation.

The participants are selected from Youth organizations, women's organizations, and representatives of religious bodies so that they can learn how to monitor projects according to the law.

The organizers confirmed that some House of Representatives members were given funds to carry out projects for the benefit of their people.

They said that the money is aimed at providing healthcare, farming, and education to their constituencies.

The attendees were satisfied with how the event took place and asked relevant questions on how to monitor funds allocated for projects to them.

Malama Zainab Sanim, one of the guest speakers at the event showed her appreciation for how people supported the event. Malam Musa Suleman from CDC, Giwa Local Government Chapter commended the organizers for their presentation at the event.

The organization reaffirmed that; "50 million naira provided to support intended students to write JAMB. There is also 20 million naira to support people with sight problems. 50 million naira is provided to purchase sewing machines for women. 70 million naira for students scholarship", the organization said.

The foundation said half of the money is already with its representatives for the said purposes.

Based on that, the organization called on people to put more effort into monitoring the projects provided to them by their representatives through the application of what the foundation taught them.

The event ended successfully.
