As part of their Ramadan tradition, the Zahra Relief Foundation conducted food distribution for breaking the fast within the Muslim community.
The distribution took place in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According to our correspondent, the distribution of food for breaking the fast commenced on the 16th and continued until the 24th of Ramadan 1445.
Thousands of individuals residing in Jabi, Garki, Utako, and Life Camp in the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja benefited from this initiative.
Abdurrahman Muhammad, a leader in the distribution effort, stated that the aim of providing open food was to ensure equitable access for the needy in the community, in line with the foundation's commitment to charitable work and aiding the less privileged.
"to facilitate reaching the needy in the community without discrimination, as it aligns with the foundation's commitment to charity and supporting the underprivileged," he affirmed
Many recipients expressed gratitude for the daily support during their fast, offering prayers for the foundation's success in all its endeavors.
The food aid program is among the foundation's activities aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by individuals, particularly those affected by rising food prices.
