The Nigeria Union of Journalists, KBTV Chapel, along with its sister union, RATTAWU, has commended the state Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris Ƙauran Gwandu, for his engagement with the state-owned media organizations.
In a statement jointly signed and issued to newsmen by the chapels' chairmen, Comrade Abdulnaseer Sani Argungu and Comrade Aliyu Adamu Bagudo, the Governor's visit to the station was described as a "morale booster that will translate into more efficiency, hard work, and dedication to duty."
The unions highlighted that Dr. Nasir Idris is the first sitting governor to officially visit the station in the last sixteen years.
Comrade Abdulnaseer Sani Argungu and Comrade Aliyu Adamu Bagudo assured the government and management of the station of their "total commitment and unflinching loyalty at all times."
Furthermore, they lauded the Governor for his interest in digitizing KBTV and Kebbi Radio, a move that will enable the stations "to compete favourably with other stations across the world."
