A member of the National Assembly from Zamfara State, Rt Hon Dr. Aminu Sani Jaji, has urged Muslim faithful in the state and across the country to unite and focus on the virtues of love, peace, tolerance, and commitment to peaceful coexistence.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Jamilu Iliyasu Birnin Magaji, Aminu Jaji, who represents Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, emphasized the importance of national unity and mutual love for Nigeria's prosperity.
The lawmaker, who is also the chairman of the House Committee on Ecological Funds, conveyed his Sallah goodwill message to his constituents, the people of Zamfara State, and all Nigerians. He highlighted the need for Muslims to embrace the spirit of sacrifice and forbearance as they celebrate this year's Eid-el-Kabir.
He explained that the lessons of this noble and sacred festivity include love for one another, being our brother's keeper, strong faith in Almighty Allah, and following the teachings of our noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
While congratulating Muslim faithful on this year's Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, Honourable Aminu Jaji prayed for Almighty Allah to accept their ibadat during this sacred period and beyond.
He also extended his felicitations to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and leaders at all levels on this special occasion of Sallah celebrations.
