As part of efforts to bring ICT technology closer to the community in Bauchi South Senatorial District and beyond, Senator Shehu Umar Buba, representing Bauchi South at the National Assembly, intends to establish world-class ICT facilities in Kirfi and Dass Local Government Areas of Bauchi State. These initiatives aim to empower the youth and women in these areas.
This development was disclosed to the press in Bauchi during an interactive session with the Chairman of the Bauchi Volunteer Political Group, Alhaji Danladi Inuwa (OC Kwano).
The chairman noted that more empowerment initiatives are coming to Bauchi State through Senator Buba's efforts. During the recent Sallah festivities, the federal lawmaker distributed rams, bags of rice, and money to citizens across the 20 local government areas of the state.
Meanwhile, Alhaji Danladi OC Kwano revealed that Senator Shehu is currently building hospitals across seven local government areas of Bauchi, with the intention of bringing more dividends of democracy to the poor masses.
Alhaji Danladi OC Kwano noted that the senator has been giving scholarships to different categories of students across Bauchi State, with the greater intention of boosting educational development among the poor, vulnerable, and less privileged groups in society.
In another development, the chairman of the volunteer political group concluded that the lawmaker is also renovating more religious centers in Bauchi State. He called on the people of Bauchi to rally their support for Senator Shehu Buba in the 2027 governorship election campaign, promising that more development will be done in the interest of a greater Bauchi State.
