The National Executives of the Nigeria Youth Forum recently visited Ambassador Umar Aliyu Shayi in Bauchi to express their allegiance, loyalty, and respect to the supreme leader of the organization. Dr. Shayi holds the traditional title of Walin Samarin Nigeria and serves as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammad on security matters, among other key positions in Nigeria's security architecture.
The visit took place shortly after the inauguration of the North East Zone executives of the Forum. The delegation highlighted Dr. Shayi’s notable contributions and emphasized the importance of promoting sustainable development and unity.
The Forum’s representatives outlined their objectives and areas of concern, including supporting hospitals with financial aid, medicines, and the settlement of patients’ bills. They also discussed their commitment to facilitating community development across Nigeria by helping secure cooperative loans.
In response, Dr Umar Shayi expressed his deep appreciation for the Forum’s gesture, noting that it will be a lasting part of his personal history. He urged all members to adhere to the Forum’s constitution, guidelines, and procedures, and to maintain respect among stakeholders and leadership.
