The College of Health Sciences and Technology Ningi is mourning the passing of the esteemed Emir of Ningi, Dr. Yunusa Mohammad Dan Yaya, who passed away this Sunday in Ningi.
Dr. Garba Hussaini, the Provost of the college, praised the late Emir’s exemplary life, characterized by righteousness, service to humanity, and devotion to God. He described Dr. Dan Yaya as a monumental pillar of excellence, humanity, and development within the Ningi Emirate and beyond.
Dr. Hussaini fervently prayed for the late Emir’s soul to be granted eternal peace in Aljannatul Fidausi and called upon Allah to bestow patience upon the people of Ningi Emirate and the broader community during this difficult time.
He also emphasized that this loss is significant for Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole. The void left by the late monarch is profound and felt across various divides.
Dr. Dan Yaya was buried according to Islamic rites, with his funeral attended by numerous dignitaries from Nigeria and abroad, reflecting the high regard in which he was held.
