Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Chief Imam of Minna, Mal. Ibrahim Isah Fari.
In a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the governor described the death of Mal. Isah Fari as a significant loss to Niger State and the Muslim community. He praised the late Imam as a humble peace ambassador who consistently preached love, unity, and togetherness.
Governor Bago highlighted the Chief Imam’s selfless and impactful life, dedicated to the propagation of Islam, and acknowledged that his wise counsel and guidance would be greatly missed.
While extending his condolences to the Minna Emirate, the family of the deceased, and the Muslim Ummah, the governor prayed for Allah’s mercy and eternal rest for Mal. Isah Fari in Aljannat Firdausi. He also prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family to bear this irreplaceable loss.
