Inaugurates New Bauchi Office for Federal Character Commission, Pledges Support
Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has urged the Federal Character Commission to engage stakeholders in fostering a future where all Nigerians have equal access to opportunities.
At the inauguration of the Commission’s new office in Bauchi, Governor Mohammed, represented by Deputy Governor Auwal Jatau, emphasized that the new building symbolizes a commitment to fairness, equity, justice, and national unity.
The Governor highlighted the Bauchi State Government’s support for the Commission's mission, acknowledging that these principles are foundational for building a just society. He praised the Commission for promoting fairness and inclusivity, noting that such efforts are essential for national cohesion.
The Chairperson of the Federal Character Commission, Muheeba Farida Dankaka, expressed gratitude to Governor Mohammed for his support in establishing the new office.
