President Bola Tinubu officially swore in seven new ministers at a ceremony in the council chamber of Aso Rock Villa on Monday.
The ministers took the oath of office in two groups, with four appointees in the first batch and three in the second. The State House Director of Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye, introduced each appointee with a brief citation before they pledged to serve.
These new ministers are expected to assume their roles immediately, contributing to the administration’s objectives in their designated fields.
List of Newly Appointed Ministers and Their Portfolios:
- Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
- Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi – Minister of Labour and Employment
- Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
- Dr. Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment
- Idi Mukhtar Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development
- Yusuf Abdullahi Ata – Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development
- Dr Suwaiba Said Ahmad – Minister of State for Education
