The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agaie Local Government has successfully organized an expanded stakeholders' meeting, bringing together party executives, ward chairmen, and key stakeholders.
In a press release signed by Hon. Zubairu Hussaini, Secretary of the APC in Agaie Local Government, the party emphasized that the meeting aimed to foster unity, development, and collaboration ahead of the upcoming council elections.
During the meeting, APC Chairman Alhaji Yakubu Kusoyaba made a strong case for retaining the council chairman position in Agaie Central. After extensive discussions and deliberations among stakeholders, it was unanimously agreed that the position would remain in Agaie Central.
The meeting was well attended by prominent stakeholders, including Hon. Mahmud Abdullahi, Member representing Agaie/Lapai Federal Constituency; Alhaji Isah Muhammad Etsugaie, Member of the Niger State House of Assembly representing Agaie; Niger SUBEB Executive Chairman Malam Muhammad Baba Ibrahim; APC State Assistant Secretary Alhaji Shuaibu Isah; APC Zonal Woman Leader (Zone A) Hajia Hauwa Koroka; as well as former commissioners, council chairmen, and other key figures such as Engineer Muhammad Dagachi Etsugaie and President of the Kintako Development Association, Alhaji Suleiman Tagagi.
The meeting reaffirmed the APC's commitment to unity, good governance, and democratic principles. By engaging stakeholders and ensuring their voices are heard, the party continues to promote transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in its decision-making process.
