In a related development, Governor Namadi also appointed Baffajo Beita as the new Managing Director of Galaxy ITT.
Beita previously served as Chief Information Officer at Galaxy Backbone in Abuja. He brings vast expertise in information technology, specializing in network administration, cybersecurity, and software development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing from Anglia Ruskin University and has had an extensive career spanning various IT roles in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), particularly in the oil and gas, manufacturing, and finance sectors. He began his career at the Jigawa State Informatics Institute, Kazaure.

The appointments, according to the SSG, are based on merit, competence, and personal integrity.
