The Jajiya Political Movement, operating under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, has formally endorsed Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, the Member representing Kauran Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, for the governorship of Zamfara State. The group also declared support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Addressing supporters during a gathering in Kaduna, the leader of the Jajiya Movement, Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu Tsafe (Dan Masanin Tsafe), said the event was organized to reaffirm their loyalty to the APC at the federal level and to call on Hon. Sani Jaji to contest the 2027 governorship election in Zamfara.

According to Alhaji Tsafe, the current administration in Zamfara has failed to deliver on its promises, leaving the state grappling with misgovernance and rising insecurity. He emphasized that Hon. Jaji, given his track record of commitment, philanthropy, and grassroots engagement, is best suited to steer the state towards recovery and development.

Also speaking at the event, Hon. Lawali Attahiru Dogon Kade, a key figure within the movement, described Hon. Sani Jaji as a leader with unwavering dedication to the well-being of the people.

“Zamfara needs someone like Hon. Jaji — a leader with the capacity to bring both safety and progress,” Dogon Kade said. “He is always willing to help, and we believe he is the right man to lead the state.”

Malam Murtala Adala, who led a delegation of Islamic clerics from Zamfara to the event, also offered prayers and spiritual support for Hon. Jaji's political ambition. He highlighted the lawmaker’s integrity, citing his consistent service to the people and his deep-rooted concern for their welfare.

“We regularly recite the Qur’an and offer prayers for the success of Hon. Jaji,” Adala said. “He is the most qualified to govern Zamfara State, and we are committed to supporting him.”

The event was well attended by APC supporters from across Zamfara State. Many expressed their enthusiasm for Hon. Jaji's candidacy, pledging to mobilize and campaign vigorously ahead of the elections.

In his remarks, Hon. Sani Jaji expressed deep gratitude to the movement for their endorsement and support. He pledged to work tirelessly to bring peace, economic growth, and inclusive development to Zamfara State if elected.

“I am humbled by your trust,” he said. “Together, we will make Zamfara State a beacon of progress, peace, and unity.”

Hon. Jaji also declared his full support for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, praising the President's leadership and policies, which he said have positively impacted Nigerians.

Outlining his vision for Zamfara, Hon. Jaji emphasized the reimplementation of the Shari’a legal system, revitalizing the economy, restoring peace and security, and promoting justice and unity among all citizens.

“We are committed to building a better Zamfara for ourselves and future generations,” he stated. “Let us come together to ensure a prosperous and harmonious state.”

He concluded with a rallying call for unity and support: “We are on a journey to make Zamfara great again. With your support, we will achieve it.”
