Barrister Zuntu Suleiman Muhammad has obtained the Youth Party’s Nomination and Expression of Interest Form to contest the Kaduna North Senatorial District (Zone 1) seat.
Unveiling his “3D Agenda” for the senatorial bid, Zuntu pledged to drive industrialisation and employment through mechanised agro-allied processing industries across Zaria, Soba, Ikara, Kubau, Makarfi, Lere, Kudan and Sabon Gari Local Government Areas.
“We will turn our farms into factories and our youths into skilled earners,” he said.
On education, he emphasised investment in technical and vocational training to equip young people in the zone with industry-relevant skills.
Speaking on healthcare, the aspirant promised to ensure the provision of functional Primary Health Care Centres (PHCs) in every ward to reduce maternal mortality and improve access to basic healthcare services.
Zuntu, a legal practitioner, also highlighted the Youth Party’s internal democratic process, noting that its “One Member, One Vote” system offers voters in Zone 1 a genuine choice ahead of the May 29, 2026 primaries.
According to him, the process eliminates delegate-based voting and imposition of candidates.
“With a valid National Identification Number (NIN) and registration, your SMS becomes your power,” he said.
He called on party members across the eight local government areas in the district to revalidate their membership using their NIN and prepare for the primaries.
