The Federal Fire Service (FFS) has deployed Assistant Controller of Fire (ACF) Aminu Amadu as the new Controller of its Kaduna State Command.
According to the Service, the deployment recognises his years of dedicated service, leadership experience, and contributions to the protection of lives and property.
Before his appointment, ACF Aminu Amadu served as the pioneer Commander of the Zaria Area Command, where he supervised the establishment and development of the Command's operations.
During his tenure, the Command recorded notable improvements in operational efficiency, administrative processes, and personnel welfare. His leadership was characterised by teamwork, transparency, discipline, and commitment to effective service delivery.
One of the major achievements during his time as Commander was the partnership between the Federal Fire Service and the Zaria Local Government Council, which led to the construction of a standard fire station in Zaria. The project is expected to strengthen emergency response capacity in the area and improve access to fire safety services.
Beyond infrastructure development, ACF Aminu Amadu also championed community engagement, inter-agency collaboration, and preventive fire safety campaigns. These initiatives strengthened cooperation between the Federal Fire Service, government institutions, traditional leaders, security agencies, and local communities.
His distinguished record of service and administrative experience contributed to his appointment as Controller of the Kaduna State Command, where he is expected to oversee fire prevention, emergency response, and other operational activities across the state.
Stakeholders and colleagues have expressed confidence that he will build on his achievements in Zaria to further enhance the effectiveness of the Kaduna State Command in line with the Federal Fire Service's mandate of protecting lives, property, and critical national assets.
Following the announcement of his deployment, officers, former colleagues, associates, and well-wishers congratulated ACF Aminu Amadu on his appointment and wished him success in his new assignment.
They also prayed for wisdom, strength, good health, and divine guidance as he assumes leadership of the Kaduna State Command.
