We are appealing to the general public, philanthropists, organisations, and all people of goodwill to support three-year-old Habiba Rabilu, a native of Tsidir in Auyo Local Government Area of Jigawa State, who is currently battling retinoblastoma (a type of eye cancer) in one of her eyes.
Habiba is currently receiving treatment at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH), where she has been diagnosed with the condition and requires urgent surgery.
The sum of ₦1.4 million (One Million, Four Hundred Thousand Naira) is needed for the operation. Unfortunately, Habiba’s parents are from a financially disadvantaged family and are unable to raise the required amount on their own.
We therefore appeal to members of the public, especially philanthropists, charitable organisations, community leaders, and all people of goodwill, to support Habiba with whatever amount they can afford. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in helping this young girl access the treatment she urgently needs.
