A member of the House of Representatives representing Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency of Zamfara State, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannah, has distributed 100 vehicles, sewing machines and water pumps worth millions of naira to politicians and other members of his constituency.
The distribution ceremony took place on Thursday in Bungudu Local Government Area of the state. It was flagged off by Governor Dauda Lawal, while former Governor and Senator representing Zamfara West, Abdul’aziz Yari, supervised the distribution of the items.
Zannah, who represents the Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Speaking at the event, Governor Dauda Lawal commended the lawmaker for his efforts to deliver the dividends of democracy to his constituents.
Lawal praised Zannah’s initiatives and urged other politicians and stakeholders to emulate him by prioritising programmes aimed at improving the lives of the people they represent.
“I am pleased with the way Hon. Zannah is implementing programmes for the benefit of his constituents. This is commendable, and the lawmaker deserves encouragement,” Governor Lawal said.
The governor also commended the unity among APC members and stakeholders in Zamfara State.
“As you can see, all APC stakeholders in Zamfara are united and working together for the success of President Bola Tinubu and all APC candidates at all levels in the 2027 general elections,” he said.
Also speaking, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari commended APC members in the state for their loyalty and support for the party.
Yari, who is the Director-General of the APC 2027 Presidential Campaign, also commended Zannah for his concern for people at the grassroots.
He urged APC members to vote for Governor Dauda Lawal, President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Earlier, Zannah said the 100 vehicles distributed to politicians were intended to strengthen APC campaign activities at various levels ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to him, the empowerment programme was also designed to promote self-reliance, uphold the dignity of beneficiaries and deliver the dividends of democracy to people at the grassroots.
