Hell was let loose in the evening of Wednesday in Kaduna as Nigerian police unleashed some fury lasting almost an hour as members of the Islamic Movement were concluding a Free Zakzaky protest in Kaduna, which resulted in the death of one while many sustained severe injuries of varying degrees.
The police arrived the place as the protesters were offering the closing prayers having peacefully matched demanding the release of Sheikh Zakzaky.
Thugs wielding very dangerous weapons accompanied the police and assisted them with battering the protesters before arrest was effected by the police.
As a result, Jawad Aminu Badiko unfortunately lost his life instantly.
