By Ammar M. Rajab Unknown gunmen on Monday stormed Yankara town in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State were they killed Alhaji Muntari Mai Yadi and abducted his son Usman at his residence. The incident occured at exactly 11:00pm, an eye witness confirmed to our correspondent. He was laid to rest on Tuesday Morning according to Islamic rites at his residence were hundreds people attended the funeral. Meanwhile, on Sunday night, some unknown gunmen also abducted four women including an infant when they attacked Yankara town, a Katsina community that shares boundary with Zamfara State. A source confirmed to this reporter that; on Friday night another set of gunmen abducted three women including a nursing mother in the town which they are still in the hands of the gunmen.

Despite Super Camp launched by Nigerian Army in Faskari LGA to end banditry in Katsina State, the gunmen continue to attack people's houses at night, and whisked them away for ransom.
