Activists and Civil Society Organizations from the 19 Northern and Southern parts of the country and some musicians has reiterated the call to unconditionally release the embattled Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife Malama Zeenah, who have been on trial by the Kaduna State government.

The call was made after some dignitaries, and activists in collaboration with some Nigerian musicians visited a renown human right lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) in Lagos.

The team which was headed by Comrade Lawal Ahmad, call on the government to deposed the so call trial that has no bases of fact against the Shiiite Muslim leader.

They also call for the prosecution of those that are involved in the killings of harmless #EndSARS protesters in Lekki.

He said, “As the trial of Sheikh Zakzaky will continue tomorrow, the victims of police brutality should write a petition agains the Nigerian Police.
