The leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky met the Igbo Community at his residence in Abuja. The participants came from various Igbo extractions around Nigeria.
According to a statement released by the Office of the Sheikh on Twitter said, issues ranging from peaceful coexistence, religious tolerance, and brotherhood among others were discussed during the meeting. "a brother among the participants accepted Islam and opt to be addressed as Musa henceforth", the statement said.
It further added that; "Another participant, a sister who delivered a baby recently brought the baby to the Sheikh for prayers and naming, the Sheikh recited Khutbah and named the baby. He presented them with some expressive gifts".
