The Chairman of Ikara local government, Honourable Sadiq

As campaigns for governorship and state House of Assembly continues, Kaduna state governor, Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai was in Ikara Local Government area of the state, Daily Struggle Newspaper reported. 

At the time of filling this report, the governor was received by a large crowd of people including District heads, religious leaders, and non-governmental organisations across the local government.

The Chairman of the local government, Honourable Sadiq led the occasion that took place at the new conference hall of the local government.

While delivering his speech to thousands of participants apologized to the governor for some set back the party faced during the presidential elections of 25th February, saying the members of the party are now fully aware of all the issues and have rectified them, promised that by Allah's grace, APC would emerge victorious across all the wards in Ikara local government and Kaduna state at large.

Honourable Abdul-Wahab Idris Kurmin Kogi, who is contesting for the seat of House of Assembly, while delivering his speech thanked the governor and plead with the people of the local government to massively vote for APC in the governorship elections and state house of assembly, saying that will help the local government in many ways.

On his part, the governor of the state, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, who was the Guest speaker thanked all the people of the local government and urged them not to repeat their previous mistakes of voting for PDP.

The governor called on the people to vote for Senator Uba Sani as governor of Kaduna state, saying all that he did in the state has the imprint of the APC Gubernatorial candidate, which he said if voted will continue from where he stopped, and they will ensure that women, youths and farmers benefitted from the government when declared the winner. 

The gubernatorial candidate of the APC, Senator Uba Sani used the opportunity to thank the people for attending the event in large numbers and mentioned some of the agendas of the APC to men, women, youths and farmers. He called on the people to support them in the coming elections.

At the end of the occasion, the Chairman of the Local government thanked all the attendees including Emirs, District heads, religious leaders, women and youths.
