Ahmadu Bello University and Federal University, Dutsin-ma (FUDMA) have jointly signed a memorandum of understanding for collaborative training and research i nuclear science and technology.
This was contained in a statement released and signed by the Public Affairs Directorate, Office of the Vice-Chancellor,
Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The statement said; the MoU signing ceremony took place at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria on Monday, 17th April 2023.
The Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Kabiru Bala signed on ABU’s behalf while Prof. Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi stood in for FUDMA. Prof. Bichi was represented at the occasion by FUDMA Director of Research and Development, Dr. Muhammad Gharzali Garba.
The MoU is to serve as a guide for collaborative Training and Research in Nuclear Science and Technology (TRCNST) for postgraduate and undergraduate students of Federal University Dutsin-ma.
The Director, Centre for Energy Research and Training (CERT), Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. S.A. Jonah, led the FUDMA team on a tour of facilities located at the Centre.
Those, who accompanied the representative of the Vice Chancellor of FUDMA, were the Registrar, Mal. Iliyasu Falalu Rafindadi and the Dean, Faculty of Physical Sciences, Dr. Emmanuel Joseph.
