Some big shots in Nasarawa state have been accused of working tirelessly and doing everything possible to prevent the growth and development of the Muhammadu Buhari International Market situated in Mararraba of Karu local government area of the state.
Sani Ahmad Zangina, the former Chairman of Land and Housing Agent in the Karu local government area of Nasarawa state and Chairman of Karamchi Online Media made the allegation while interacting with journalists in Nasarawa State.
Sani Ahmad pointed out that although the matter is currently in court, according to him, some “minority’s big shots in the state” are plotting to underdeveloped Muhammadu Buhari International Market, and setting him.
Zangina dissociated himself from all the allegations made against him saying; “To God be the glory, today, I called you to inform you of the current condition of the case between me and the Chairman of Orange market in Mararraba town. There have been a lot of accusations against me which include the Nasarawa state government funding me to trouble their business activities at Orange market”.
“I want to make it clear and also dissociated myself from these accusations. People come to me and asked about this, and that’s the reason I invited the press men to communicate to the general public to clear the air. I am not under the sponsorship of anyone let alone the government. The government is doing its duty, and I am also demanding my rights”, he stressed.
Zangina also added that he has convincing evidence that it was not the government that took the burden of standing in the court; “Of course! The first evidence you can see is that the lawyer representing me in the case is my lawyer. Is not the government that hires him to stand for me. He is already my lawyer that looks upon my activities of land and housing.
“Secondly, the court where the case is proceeding every time I come the staff see me. I always come alone with few people that were known standing behind me always”, he emphasized.
Zangina said he is optimistic that his prayers before the court will be served in his favour. He said he prayed for the court to grant an order to stop unloading goods and services on his land at Orange Market and grant an order to unload them at Muhammadu Buhari International Market. He said, this, according to him could develop the market.
He also called on the Nasarawa state government, particularly, Governor A. A Sule to interfere, where he said he hopes his message will reach the governor.
“The government has the power of God. Those who made these accusations against me that is the government that sent me because the government wants to take away the market, or something like that. It has become obvious to the world that if they are looking at the people that slowed the development of the Muhammadu Buhari International Market, then they have revealed themselves. They openly showed themselves”, he alleges.
“I hope if God wills, this message goes before him (Governor A. A Sule), he will look into it and see the kind of conspiracy well planted to avert the development of Muhammadu Buhari International Market and to also see the people's plan to collapse the market to serve the self-centred idea of some big shots minority's in the state”, he lamented.
