The provost of Bill And Melinda Gates College of Health Sciences and Technology Ningi has conducted a round of the newly constructed site at the college to assess the level of classes construction in order to boast the academic excellence and performance among the students and staff of the college.
The provost equally used this medium to commend the state government under the able leadership of Governor Bala Mohammad and his Deputy, Rt Hon Auwal Jatau, Emir Of Ningi, HRH Dr Yunusa Mohammad Dan Yaya (OON) and the entire Ningi Emirate council for their untiring efforts in supporting the college at any point in time.
The provost also appreciates the kind of great working relationship, he does usually enjoyed among the entire staff of the college and absolute loyalty from part of the students of the college.
The provost noted the construction of the additional classes was the great collective desire and willingness of the college to boast educational development and activities across Bauchi state and Nigeria in particular.
And also in another development, contrary to the report on Sallah’s Gift that reads "Provost Garba Hussaini Disburses 30 Cows and 50 Rams For Sallah Celebration", dated 28th/6/2023, the report has no basis or elements of truth on it, the college management urged the general public to shun the report completely and it has no basis whatsoever "because the college has no resources to support such kind of huge numbers of rams and cows distribution”.
The Provost noted that the little distribution was part of the tradition to support the staff and students of the college, considering the present economic predicament across the country, and urged the general public to dismiss the earlier report.
And on his part, the Director students affairs unit of the college, Malam Mohammad Ali Bello, has commended the great efforts of the Provost over an assessment visit during classes hours, saying that this should stimulate and evaluate staff/students performance, and will enhance punctuality among the said staffs and students of this prestigious college more especially in the areas of productivity and greater academic excellence.
The students' Affairs Director, has concluded that the Provost has been very supportive and encouraging the staff in the areas of capacity-building training, seminars and workshops and this has equally created greater opportunities by impacting more positive skills and discipline among the students; in order place the college on the comity of global academic excellence, research and sustainable development
