As part of celebration to mark the birthday of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, the voice of Darika Tijjaniya Funtua local government area of Katsina state chapter, has trained 141 women in various skills acquisitions, and also gave them five thousand naira to each woman to support them.

Speaking during the ceremony, the head of Voice of Darika Foundation said the foundation taxed each member, some amount of money to ensure that the ceremony was done in a good atmosphere.

According to him, after finishing the training of the beneficiaries, the sum of seven hundred and fifty thousand naira will be distributed as support to 141 women, who have already been trained on how to make cake, groundnut oil, zobo, suya bean cake (AURA), among others.

In his speech, the Chairman of the Shura Council of Darika, Malan Liman Abduraham Jibil stated that the Voice of Darika has spent more than 8 million naira in running its activities and supporting the poor and small-scale businesses men and women in Funtua Local Government.

Also speaking, Khalifa Ali Saidu Alti said that the celebration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, in this month allowed them to make this assistance to the less privileged people.

The Chief Guest Speaker, Gov. Umar Radda of Katsina State represented by Abdulraham Nasir Funtua expressed his satisfaction with the efforts put by Muryar Darika to support the less privileged and enterprising people, which he said the support is in line with Governor Radda's resolution to help low-income people in their business.

Governor Radda called on groups in the state to follow the example of the Voice of Darika Tijjaniya Funtua in providing support to low-income businessmen and women to register the organization by the state and the federal government to take advantage of the authorities while providing the support.

In the speech, the Emir of Maskan Katsina, and District Head of Funtua, who was represented by the Mayor of Funtua, Alhaji Rabiu Ali,  expressed his gratitude to those who joined the group to help the community.
