Even though, Provost Garba Hussaini is not a new name in the academic circle in the entire northern Nigeria and beyond.
With a lot of vision, passion, projects, programs, and policies to show so far for the prestigious college, he has not slowed down a bit. He has continuously been trying to put the college on the globally acceptable front burner of academic excellence, professionalism, and discipline across the divides.
Upon assumption on the castle of the leadership of the prestigious college or institution, so much has been recorded with the support of Governor Bala led PDP’s administration in repositioning and re-engineering a lot of academic result-oriented initiatives, that’s his style, passion, compassion, and commitment to prosperity and derivatives on excellence to the globally acceptable desired dispositions in all ramifications.
Malam Garba, his stylistic form of administration, has actualized its vision into developmental policies and sound academic derivable systems as well as overall interest in promoting productivity and sustainable governance in his mindset to ensure sustainable academic research, technology innovation, and scientific findings.
These have been deliberate steps, to subject the prestigious institution to the globally acceptable positive fuller picture of transparency and transformative efforts by all standards, that’s true body language, spirits, dreams, and compassion, and equally professionally and acceptably to push the college on the global map of academic excellence, discipline as well as productivity accompanied by promoting the required mechanisms and standardization in the spheres of competitiveness for the benefit of Bauchi and humanities on the global history, development, and geography.
“The great man, Garba Hussaini; was once described by the British Embassy in Abuja that, he is the most competent, reliable, and intelligent partner in promoting scientific research and technology innovations in the spheres of public service & related health sciences, indices and academic discipline in Nigeria” He’s a true litmus test of integrity, intellectualism, simplicity, dedication, absolute commitment to achieving productivity and growth, professionalism and excellence, his body promotes transparency and accountability all the times, and the most competent provost in the history of entire northern Nigeria not only Bauchi state.
Time frame won’t permit me to mention all his lofty projects and initiatives but to mention a few some of which are; the perimeter fencing of the college, construction and reconstruction of classes, offices, World class standard ICT center, deployment of the best security architecture across the college,welfare of staff and students, capacity building training, availability of tap water, solar power installation, accreditation and reaccreditations of all the courses, renovation of offices among other critical projects.
