The immediate past NLC President, Comrade Ayuba Waba, embarked on a condolence visit to the residence of the late veteran unionist, Adams Erena, in Minna to express sympathies with the family over the demise of the veteran unionist who passed away in the early hours of today.
He expressed his solidarity with the family, stating that Adams Erena will be remembered for his fatherly roles in ensuring a peaceful and conducive environment for workers across the country, according to Ayuba Waba.
He joined Islamic scholars in prayers. Among the veteran unionists present was the Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, representing his principal, the Governor of Niger State, Farmer Umar Bago.
Also in attendance were the NLC Chairman, Comrade Idrees Lafene, the TUC State Chairman, Comrade Gana Ibrahim, and other affiliated chairpersons and secretaries, all present as a sign of solidarity
