The Chairperson of the Niger State Chapter of POWA, Mrs. Rosina Shawulu Danmamman, along with her entourage, visited the Minna Area Command today, April 12th, 2024. They were warmly received by the Area Commander, ACP Isah Adejoh, his DPOs, and the wives of police officers at 'B' Division Minna, where the event took place.
The Area Commander and the police wives greeted the Chairperson with enthusiasm. The Area Commander expressed gratitude for the visit, recognizing it as a first of its kind and appreciating her commitment to the welfare of POWA women.
In turn, the Chairperson thanked the Area Commander and DPOs for their unwavering support and dedication to the Commissioner of Police, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace in Minna. She delivered a lecture to the women, urging them to be supportive spouses, contribute to the household economy, and adequately care for their children.
Furthermore, she encouraged attendance at POWA meetings and instructed officers to arrange transportation to facilitate participation, thereby aiding the association's growth. Subsequently, she conducted an inspection of police barracks, sharing her observations with the Area Commander for necessary action before departing.
