During Tuesday's plenary session at the House of Representatives, the silent achiever, Rt. Hon. Kwamoti La'ori, proposed two important amendment bills to the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).
The honorable member of the House representing Numan/Demsa/Lamurde federal constituency proposed amendments which passed first reading. The amendments seek to improve the welfare, peace, and security of all Nigerians, and also aim to promote order and good governance in the country.
The lawmaker called on his constituents and Nigerians to take advantage of the ongoing constitutional amendment process to ensure their voices are heard.
The hardworking lawmaker has once again emphasized, besides commissioning life-impacting projects, human capital development, and youth empowerment, the need to improve existing laws of the land to accommodate new challenges in human society.
He further maintained that as a people's representative and lawmaker, he would not relent in his primary responsibility of making laws that bring democracy dividends to his esteemed constituents and the nation at large, hence the proposed amendments.
