Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has extended his felicitations to all workers and the organized labor in the state as they join their counterparts across the country in commemorating Workers' Day.

In a congratulatory message conveyed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Farmer Governor applauded the officials of organized labor and the entire workforce in the state for their resilience and understanding in the face of the harsh economic and security challenges confronting the state.

While acknowledging the significant role of workers in nation-building, the Farmer Governor described civil servants as pivotal to the policy implementation of any administration.

He emphasized that a vibrant workforce is essential and critical to achieving good governance.

Farmer Governor Umaru Bago then expressed his administration's determination to continue evolving strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the civil service in service delivery.

Regarding the new minimum wage and other welfare issues concerning workers, the Farmer Governor assured them of his commitment, emphasizing that the provision of a conducive working environment for improved performance would not be compromised.

The Farmer Governor also reminded the workers of the importance of professionalism and adherence to the ethics of the civil service, urging them to remain focused, dedicated, and committed in the discharge of their duties.
