It was a day of eulogies and tears as friends, colleagues, and family members bid farewell to the late Professor Nuhu Ango Aliyu, Director of the Institute of Continuing Education and e-Learning (ICEeL) at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai.

He was laid to rest at the Kpakungu Cemetery according to Islamic rites.

The Deputy Chief Imam of Minna Central Mosque, Malam Isah Jibrin, led Muslim faithful in the Jana'iza prayer held at the Central Mosque. Following the interment, he and other scholars offered prayers at the Kpakungu Cemetery, praying for the repose of Professor Nuhu Ango's soul and acknowledging that Allah gives and takes life.

Honourable Abdullahi Adamu Mammagi, the State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, led government officials to the burial.

He remarked that Professor Ango's death is a significant loss to IBB University, Lapai, and the Minna Emirate, highlighting his philanthropic legacy.

As the chairman of the Nuhu Ango Foundation, Professor Ango empowered nearly two hundred youths with skills in tailoring, shoe-making, and other trades. He also intervened in the lives of the needy, sponsoring the education of many underprivileged individuals in the state.
