The Governor of Niger State, Umaru Bago, delegated a team of Executive Council Members, led by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abubakar Usman, to meet with the Managing Director of the Bank of Industry (BOI), Dr. Olasupo Olusi. The meeting took place at the BOI Headquarters in Lagos.

Key areas of focus during the meeting included the agricultural value chain, renewable energy, tourism, and healthcare development.

Both parties expressed optimism about a fruitful engagement and are keen to explore ways to strengthen their partnership.

The State Commissioners for Trade and Investment, Hon. Aminu Takuma; Finance, Hon. Lawal Maikano; Budget and Planning, Hon. Mustapha Ndajiwo; Special Adviser on Special Duties, Dr. Murtala Bagana; and the Executive Secretary of the Niger State Investment Promotion Agency, Hajia Amina Sanusi, attended the meeting.
