The New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) belongs primarily to its elected members as the symbol and pride of the party.
It should be noted that someone should inform Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso that he was a failure in the 2023 general election where he contested for the presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso cannot be addressed as the leader of the NNPP, given his failure in the 2023 presidential election. It is clear that his era is over.
In a statement signed by the Northwest Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Sani Danmasani, it was stated that the leader of the NNPP should be Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, whose suspension may be reviewed by December 31, 2024.
Currently, the leader of the NNPP is Senator Kawu Ismaila, while Dr. Aniebonam Boniface Okechukwu is the founder and chairman of the board of trustees. Other principal officers include Gilbert Agbo Major as the national chairman, Comrade Ogini Sunday Olaposi as the secretary-general, and Hajia Kaita as the national woman leader, among others.
It should be on record that the logo, slogan, and color of the NNPP are the property of the party and not INEC. The illegal approval of the Kwankwasiyya logo, color, and slogan against the NNPP's personal property will not be sustained in due course, noting that cases are in court.
We pray that God helps the chairman of INEC to urgently invoke his residual powers to reverse this apparent gross misconduct by his officers.
Given the circumstances of the various court cases, with INEC as a party to the suits, there is no urgency in granting the request to change the logo, slogan, and color of the party.
Hiding under the guise of an illegal NEC meeting and convention with the payment of one million naira in administrative fees to INEC is insufficient to grant the approval.
The implications are clear that INEC may have been compromised to disrespect the rules and regulations of the Nigerian courts.
One is therefore constrained to ask the chairman of INEC whether he is familiar with the tenets of internal democracy, which is predicated on the rule of law.
We hope that the chairman of INEC will take action to discover that the erudite, imposed, and illegal chairman, Dr. Ahmed Ajuji, of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and his Kwankwasiyya movement, refused to visit INEC to collect the approval letter for the change of logo, noting that the action was uncalled for and unnecessary during this time of internal crisis in the party.
Indeed, it took significant pressure and pleading from Senator Kwankwaso to coerce Dr. Ahmed Ajuji into going to INEC to collect the approval letter, noting that only the illegal chairman could sign for the approval letter.
It is also important that the chairman of INEC be informed that only the unemployed characters around Senator Kwankwaso were interested in changing the logo, color, and slogan of the party.
All elected members and the entire membership of the NNPP are totally against the illegal act of changing the party's logo, color, and slogan.
We again advise the chairman of INEC to invoke his residual powers to reverse the rascality, greed, undue arrogance, betrayal tendencies, cowardice, selfishness, dictatorial nature, and overzealousness of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who has been expelled from the NNPP.
We hope that Dr. Ahmed Ajuji will urgently resign his illegal chairmanship of the Kwankwasiyya movement, codenamed NNPP. Dr. Ahmed Ajuji should distance himself from all the idiocy of Senator Kwankwaso and Buba Galadima. The urgent need to preserve his earned honor and reputation is hereby emphasized.
Once again, Senator Kwankwaso should do himself a favor and leave the NNPP as a failure, respecting himself like Mr. Peter Obi and Turaki of Adamawa, who are men of honor and integrity.
To the chairman of INEC, we have a lot of respect for you, and it is our hope that you do not embarrass the federal government of Nigeria, whose mantra is "Renewed Hope for a Greater Nigeria."
We are pleased to hear in public discourse that you have taken exception to note that court orders and rules are being breached at the commission.
We wish you the best of luck and God's guidance as you recover quickly and distance yourself from Senator Kwankwaso, who, for obvious reasons, is bringing shame to the entire northern part of Nigeria by his ungratefulness and betrayal tendencies.
