In a significant effort to improve healthcare service delivery in Bauchi State, the health system strengthening cluster has collaborated with the media to enhance the quality of healthcare services through integrated supportive supervision (ISS).
The partnership aims to increase the availability and accessibility of quality healthcare services for the citizens of Bauchi State.
Shuaibu Ali Kobi, Program Manager of the Bauchi State network of organizations and CSOs, explained that the cluster has been actively engaging with all relevant stakeholders in the health sector to ensure sustained budgetary allocations in the 2025 budget proposals for integrated supportive supervision, among other critical factors.
He also highlighted that the cluster has been conducting numerous advocacy initiatives focused on budget performance, budget tracking, and improving transparency, accountability, and good governance across the state.
Mr. Kobi emphasized the importance of the partnership with the media, stating that it would significantly contribute to addressing the complex challenges facing the healthcare sector and improving the overall health system.
The partnership is expected to boost universal health coverage and align with the Abuja Declaration's objectives.
