The Bauchi-based NGO, Women's Rights Advancement and Protection Alternative (WRAPA), has organized a one-day step-down training in Bauchi aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of its volunteer group.
This development was disclosed to the media by the Executive Director of WRAPA, Hajiya Amina Bala Jibrin, in Bauchi.
Hajiya Jibrin explained that the purpose of the training is to strengthen advocacy campaigns and combat violence against women and girls across the state and beyond.
She further emphasized that WRAPA aims to fortify its institutional capacity and resilience, while solidifying its leadership in the field of women's rights advancement in Nigeria and beyond.
The Executive Director also noted that the training will equip the selected volunteer group with practical skills, tools, and insights to foster a strong sense of solidarity and collective action within their respective communities.
In conclusion, she called on all relevant stakeholders to support these initiatives to ensure the optimal benefits for everyone involved.
