The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Dankombo Morris, Psc(+), decorated twelve (12) newly promoted police officers at the Police Officers' Mess on Saturday, 13th September 2024, in Yola.
The decoration ceremony followed the recent promotions of personnel within the Nigeria Police Force.
The event was attended by Hon. Ahmed Lawan, Senior Special Assistant on Peace and Security to His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, along with many other stakeholders.
In his speech on behalf of the governor, the SSA congratulated the newly promoted officers and charged them to view the promotion as a call for improved service to the state.
The governor also assured the State Government’s commitment to continuing its support for the Command's ongoing fight against Shilla boys and other criminal activities in the state.
On his part, CP Dankombo Morris highlighted that since his assumption of office, community policing strategies and strategic management have been his primary focus.
